graduated with honors from the University of Southern California, earning a Bachelors degree in Communications and a minor in News Media & Society. Lacey was also a proud and active member of Delta Gamma sorority at USC. While in college, Lacey had the privilege to work for such companies as: E! News, E! Live Events, Silver Spoon Entertainment Marketing, and Silicon Valley Sports & Entertainment.
Lacey's life after college has presented her with professional modeling opportunities with Maggie Inc. Boston, and FORD. She enjoys traveling as a working model and TV host and looks forward to traveling even more throughout her reign as Miss Massachusetts USA. As part of her hosting career, Lacey has had the opportunity to work as a reporter for Cal-Hi Sports on the CW Network as well as online as a fashion expert for shoetube.tv. As a model, Lacey has strutted the runways for such clients as: Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor, Macys, New York & Company, Tory Burch and Yves Saint Laurent to name a few. She has also graced the pages of Teen Magazine and Cosmo Girl and has worked with numerous print clients throughout the Boston area. Lacey loves her job because it allows her to constantly "be on the go," meeting new people and exploring new places.
Having lost two grandparents to cancer, Lacey is extremely passionate about her work with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and is a proud recipient of an award as one of the Top 10 Fundraisers in the entire state of Massachusetts. She recently completed a 60-mile walk to raise funds for Breast Cancer Research, Screening and Awareness. She considers that walk one of the most inspirational weekends of her life. Lacey is looking forward to working with more worthwhile causes and charities throughout the state during her reign as Miss Massachusetts USA.
Lacey comes from a true sports family and attributes this background to instilling in her a strong work ethic, an understanding of the value of teamwork, and the importance of living a healthy lifestyle. As an award winning volleyball player, Lacey has been a three-time Junior Olympian, and was selected to be her teams' Volleyball Captain. Lacey has been active in spending her free time helping young girls learn the exciting game of volleyball and most importantly helping them to realize that keeping fit can be fun! Besides staying active as an athlete, active in her community, and cheering on her favorite sports team, the Boston Red Sox, Lacey's other favorite thing to do with her free time is to spend time with her family. She is the oldest of four and considers her younger siblings her very best friends! She is so excited to share this year with them.
